Looks great! What ratio of tan paint and water did you use? Also, how long did you wait after applying the paint wash before wiping excess off with microfiber cloth? You also have listed white paint in your product list; did you use white and tan paint?

I don’t understand why one end of the island is out further than the other end. I think the hardware again could be nicer but overall it’s very beautiful.i thinks white would have been a nicer end result

" I just realized that white tiles in a mudroom bath isn't ideal".....then proceeds to redo bath with white walls and cabinet, light colored batten and board and wallpaer 😂 Ppl can do whatever they want with their homes....I don't understand the disengenuous excuses.....simply say you wanted to do something different.

Ring. The extra paint for crafts. Or offer the leftover paint to a crafter in your area. Put up a sign in a crafting shop.

I noticed no one ever mentions how to connect the Butcher Block to the island is it the angle brackets or strong tie?
